The great success of our first workshop on -China RoHS- in October 2006 and the electronics industry' s ongoing need for information have prompted us to hold a second event with the most important electrotechnology/electronics associations: ZVEI, BITKOM und FED. It will present up-to-date information about and analysis of the substance and effects of the China RoHS and initiate an exchange of ideas between those affected in the electronics industry. One of the event' s goals is also to push for ensuring the various regulations are implemented in a coordinated, consistent manner. The event is aimed at all electronics and systems engineering companies exporting goods to, or manufacturing components or products in, the People' s Republic of China now or that plan to in the future, and whose products fall within the framework of the Chinese directives, such as companies in
