The purpose of the symposium is to interpret sustainability from different points of view, e.g. microsystem engineering, reliability desgn, manufacturing, management, legislation or international collaboration.
The organisers will also present a new sustainability research programme of the Fraunhofer IZM in collaboration with the Research Center for Microperipherics at TU Berlin. The programme is designed to integrate economical and environmental aspects into our technology developments and innovations for the global electronics industry.
